Located less than a kilometer from the Perth CBD, members can enjoy high-quality facilities and service compared with tennis or squash clubs around the world, due to the integration with Next Gen Health & Lifestyle Clubs.

Featuring 22 outdoor grass courts, six outdoor non-cushioned courts, two synthetic courts, courts with lighting and access to professional coaching.

Members are invited to partake in league competition, tournaments and social tennis throughout the year, and new members are always welcome.

The club is a non-profit organisation and is managed by a Committee which is elected annually. The rules binding club members are set out in the Rules of the Club

Our integration with Next Gen Health & Lifestyle Clubs since 2007, gives all members access to additional world class facilities including five squash courts, roof top and indoor pool, gym, creche, apparel shop, all-day-dining cafe, members lounge, wifi and a licensed bar.

Royal King’s Park Tennis Club (RKPTC) is a member of the Association of Centenary Tennis Clubs (CTC) comprising more than eighty of the most prestigious tennis clubs in the world, all with over a century of international events.

Tennis WA is the governing body of Tennis in WA. Our central role is to ensure the commercial viability of tennis, oversee the development of grassroots programs, manage competitions and tournaments, and promote tennis at all levels.

Tennis Australia Limited is the governing body for Tennis in Australia. It is owned by Australian states and territories. The association organises national and international Tennis tournaments including the Australian Open, the Australian Open Series, Davis Cup, Fed Cup, ATP Cup and Australian Pro Tour. In addition, the association takes the responsibility to facilitate tennis at all levels from grassroots to elite development. Tennis Australia's state-based member associates carry out the promotion, management, and development of Tennis within Australia. As well as administer amateur tournaments and youth development programs.

All members, have the opportunity to visit and enjoy the facilities of many of these clubs when travelling interstate or overseas via RKPTC’s Reciprocal Agreements with them. There are more than 20 reciprocal clubs around the world – in places such as Sydney, Melbourne, London, Bordeaux, New York, Singapore, Hong Kong and many other great cities. 

How to join?

As an Ace Member of Next Gen Kings Park (NGKP) you are eligible to apply for membership of Royal King’s Park Tennis Club (RKPTC). No further fees apply.

Joining NGKP entitles you to:

  • Meet friendly fellow players that can help you have fun and develop your game.

  • Participate in enjoyable organised social tennis on Saturdays and Sundays and at selected times during the week

  • Be eligible for selection in league teams

  • Enter Club Championships, the Annual Easter Tournament, and other events

  • Join in some great fun social events organised by and for RKPTC member
